Roles & Responsibilities
1) Atleast 2 years work as an HOD.
2) Create safety and environmental awareness among all employees.
3) Monitoring of EHS Compliance of the plant.
4) To arrange Safety Committee Meeting & to do follow up of all action points & documentation.
5) To assist legal team to maintain Legal Register & carrying out legal compliance evaluation.
6) EHS training to all employees as per annual training schedule.
7) To investigate any EHS related accident, incidents, near miss incidents & to do the necessary documentation.
8) To monitor waste management activities and ensuring that the records are updated.
9) Preparation of SOPs related to EHS and periodical review of the same.
10) Carryout the self-inspection, quality audit asper schedule.
11) Responsible for overall record keeping pertaining to ISO 14001 & ISO 45001, External safety audit as per 14489:2018 and there compliance.
12) Conduct training programme & maintain records.
13) To follow a role of Emergency Squad member as per Emergency Preparedness & Response Action Plan. in case of Emergency.
14) IdentifytheOccupational dieses / nature of work in plant and suggested high quality and appropriate PPE's.
15) Authorized to issue safety work permits, to initiate and get carried out incident/accident/near miss investigation. Authority to stop all unsafe acts, works at plant carried out by any department or contractor based on safety requirements of the plant.
16) Handle PSCI / Labour ethics audit.
17) To maintain records related to MPCB.
Preferred candidate profile
Graduate with an ADIS qualification, knowledge of labour ethics and PSCI audit requirements, and prior experience in the API pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing industry.
