1. Pattern Manufacturing
Manufacture wooden, aluminium, resin, and metal patterns as per engineering drawings and customer specifications.
Develop split patterns, match plate patterns, core boxes, and loose-piece patterns.
Ensure dimensional accuracy and proper allowances for shrinkage, machining, and draft angles.
Assemble and finish patterns to meet foundry production requirements.
2. Pattern Repair & Maintenance
Repair damaged or worn-out patterns and core boxes.
Modify existing patterns based on engineering change requests.
Maintain pattern inventory and ensure proper storage to prevent damage.
Perform preventive maintenance on patterns and tooling.
3. Drawing Interpretation
Read and interpret engineering drawings, casting drawings
Understand machining allowances, draft angles, shrinkage allowances, and tolerances.
Coordinate with Design and NPD teams to clarify technical requirements.
4. Tool Room Operations
Operate conventional tool room machines such as:
Lathe, Milling Machine, Surface Grinder, Drill Machine, Band Saw, Woodworking Machines
Use precision measuring instruments for inspection and verification.
5. New Product Development (NPD)
Support prototype and new pattern development.
Participate in pattern trials and validation.
Coordinate with Foundry, Quality, and Machine Shop teams during product development.
Suggest design improvements to enhance casting quality and productivity.
6. Quality Assurance
Inspect completed patterns for dimensional accuracy.
Ensure compliance with engineering drawings and quality standards.
Minimize pattern defects and rework.
Maintain inspection records and documentation.
7. Continuous Improvement
Implement Kaizen and 5S practices in the Tool Room.
Improve pattern life and reduce manufacturing time.
Optimize material utilization and reduce tooling costs.
Recommend process improvements to enhance productivity.
Pay: ₹11,157.89 - ₹25,000.00 per month
