Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Housekeeping StaffAssign daily cleaning duties to housekeeping staff.Monitor staff performance and attendance.Ensure discipline, grooming, and professionalism.Maintain Cleanliness StandardsEnsure cleanliness of rooms, classrooms, offices, washrooms, corridors, dining areas, and common spaces.Conduct regular inspections to maintain hygiene standards.Work SchedulingPrepare duty rosters and shift schedules.Coordinate manpower according to daily requirements.Inventory ManagementMonitor housekeeping supplies and cleaning materials.Maintain stock records and request replenishment when needed.Ensure proper usage of equipment and materials.Training & GuidanceTrain housekeeping staff in cleaning procedures, safety practices, and proper handling of equipment.Guide staff on hygiene and sanitation standards.Safety & Hygiene ComplianceEnsure health, hygiene, and safety regulations are followed.Monitor proper disposal of waste and sanitation practices.Maintenance ReportingIdentify and report maintenance issues such as plumbing, electrical, or furniture damage.Coordinate with maintenance departments for repairs.Complaint HandlingRespond to cleanliness-related complaints promptly.Take corrective actions to improve service quality.Record KeepingMaintain cleaning schedules, attendance records, inventory logs, and inspection reports.Coordination with ManagementReport daily activities and operational updates to management.Ensure housekeeping operations support the smooth functioning of the institution or facility.
