We are looking for experienced Welders for our heavy fabrication unit. The candidate should have experience in MIG welding, ARC welding, MS plate welding, structural welding, and transformer tank fabrication work.
The welder must be able to work with fabricators, fitters, helpers, and supervisors to complete welding work with good quality and proper finishing.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding and ARC welding on MS plates and structures.
- Weld transformer tanks, stiffeners, channels, brackets, flanges, and structural parts.
- Follow fabrication drawings and supervisor instructions.
- Do proper tack welding and final welding.
- Maintain correct welding size, joint quality, and welding sequence.
- Avoid welding defects like undercut, porosity, cracks, and weak joints.
- Coordinate with fabricator/fitter before final welding.
- Support grinding and finishing team when required.
- Follow safety rules while welding, grinding, gas cutting, and crane work.
- Complete daily welding targets.
Required Skills
- Good experience in MIG / ARC welding.
- Experience in heavy fabrication preferred.
- Knowledge of MS plate welding.
- Should know proper welding angle, current setting, and joint preparation.
- Able to work on thick plates and heavy structures.
- Transformer tank welding experience will be an advantage.
- Must be hardworking and responsible.
Experience Required
Minimum: 2 years welding experience
Preferred: 4+ years in heavy fabrication / transformer tank / structural fabrication
Qualification
ITI Welder preferred, but practical welding experience is more important.
Salary
Salary will be based on welding skill and experience.
Good salary for experienced welders.
