Draughtsman – Job Description

A Draughtsman at SD Infra & MEP Services Pvt. Ltd. is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and layouts for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Fire Fighting, and ELV systems. The role includes creating accurate shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings as per project requirements and engineering standards. The Draughtsman works closely with engineers and project teams to support smooth execution at site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare MEP shop drawings, layouts, and detailed drafting work.
- Develop Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV drawings as per project requirements.
- Modify and update drawings based on site changes and engineer instructions.
- Coordinate with project engineers and site teams for drawing approvals.
- Prepare as-built drawings and maintain drawing records.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and standards.
- Assist in quantity take-off and technical documentation when required.
- Maintain proper version control and drawing revisions.
- Support project coordination through accurate drafting and planning.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting software.
- Basic knowledge of MEP systems and coordination drawings.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office and documentation.
Qualification:
- ITI / Diploma in Draftsman, Mechanical, Electrical or related field.
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
Work Environment:
- Office and site coordination-based role.
- Interaction with engineers, project teams, and site staff for drawing execution and updates.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
