We are looking for an experienced and business-focused ERP Functional Consultant who can bridge the gap between business users and technology teams. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in ERP functional consulting, business process analysis, requirement gathering, system configuration, testing, user support, and ERP implementation or enhancement projects.

About the Role
As an ERP Functional Consultant, you will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, operations teams, IT teams, ERP developers, and external technology partners to understand business requirements and translate them into effective ERP solutions.
You will support ERP implementation, enhancement, integration, testing, user acceptance, documentation, training, and post-production support. The role requires strong functional knowledge, business process understanding, stakeholder communication, and the ability to coordinate effectively between business and technical teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Process & Requirement Analysis
- Engage with business users to understand operational challenges, workflows, and system requirements.
- Conduct requirement-gathering workshops and stakeholder discussions.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for ERP optimization and automation.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRSs), process flows, and functional documentation.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements for development and technical teams.
ERP Functional Consulting
- Support ERP implementation, enhancement, customization, and optimization initiatives.
- Configure and maintain ERP functional modules based on approved business requirements.
- Support business processes across areas such as:
- Finance and Accounting
- Procurement
- Inventory and Warehouse Operations
- Retail Operations
- Sales and Customer Management
- Supply Chain and Business Operations
- Evaluate system changes and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
Dynamics 365 F&O / ERP Support
- Support functional activities related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or similar enterprise ERP platforms.
- Coordinate with ERP developers and technical consultants on customizations, reports, integrations, and system enhancements.
- Support functional validation of ERP workflows and business rules.
- Assist in resolving ERP-related issues and coordinating with internal teams and technology vendors.
Testing & Implementation
- Prepare functional test cases and support System Integration Testing (SIT).
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate system functionality against approved business requirements.
- Document defects, coordinate resolution, and support retesting.
- Assist with deployment, go-live readiness, and post-implementation support.
User Support & Training
- Provide functional support to ERP users and business teams.
- Analyze user issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams or external vendors.
- Conduct user training and prepare user manuals, process guides, and knowledge documents.
- Support user adoption and ensure effective utilization of ERP capabilities.
Integration & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate ERP integrations with business applications and external systems.
- Work with IT teams and vendors on integrations involving:
- CRM platforms
- HRMS applications
- Payment gateways
- Banking platforms
- Government portals
- Retail and business applications
- Ensure clear communication between business stakeholders, ERP teams, developers, and vendors.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain functional specifications, process documents, configuration records, test results, and change documentation.
- Prepare project status reports and functional updates for management.
- Support ERP governance, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Must-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience as an ERP Functional Consultant, ERP Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or ERP Implementation Consultant.
- Strong experience in business requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
- Experience preparing BRDs, FRSs, functional specifications, process flows, and test cases.
- Experience supporting ERP implementation, enhancement, configuration, testing, or production support.
- Strong understanding of business processes in one or more areas:
- Finance

- Experience coordinating between business users, ERP developers, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Strong UAT, functional testing, issue tracking, and deployment support experience.

Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
- Experience in retail, jewellery, multi-branch, or large enterprise environments.
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics AX or other enterprise ERP platforms.
- Knowledge of ERP integrations, APIs, and data migration activities.
- Experience with Power BI, reporting, or business dashboards.
- Exposure to CRM, HRMS, payment gateway, banking, or government portal integrations.
- Experience with ERP project management or change management.
- Relevant Microsoft Dynamics or ERP functional certifications.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 5–8 years of relevant ERP functional consulting or business systems experience.
- Strong business process knowledge and the ability to translate user requirements into functional solutions.
- Experience working with enterprise ERP systems in a retail, manufacturing, distribution, or multi-location organization.
- Comfortable collaborating with business leaders, end users, developers, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Strong ownership, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Fluent Malayalam communication is mandatory.
- Candidates currently based in Thrissur or willing to relocate to Thrissur for a long-term onsite role are encouraged to apply.
