- Machine Setup:Perform full setup of 5-axis VMC, including fixturing, work holding, and loading programs.
- Operations & Programming:Set tool offsets, coordinate systems (datum), and execute 5-axis machining operations, including manual adjustments or editing on the machine controller.
- Part Proving & Inspection:Run first-off components, measure parts using precision instruments (e.g., Vernier, Micrometer) to ensure compliance with drawings.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting:Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance to maintain machine accuracy. Troubleshooting 5-axis errors and optimizing cutting parameters.
