We are looking for a proactive IT Support Engineer to provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Windows/Linux systems, user support, troubleshooting, and IT infrastructure maintenance.
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot Windows/Linux operating systems and connectivity issues.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions (Active Directory/GPO).
- Handle incident tickets and document resolutions using ticketing tools.
- Perform routine system maintenance, upgrades, backups, and patch management.
- Escalate complex technical issues to relevant teams.
- Maintain IT documentation and asset inventory.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth IT operations.
- 1–2 years of experience in IT Support/Desktop Support.
- Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IP Addressing).
- Experience with Active Directory and user account management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience with ticketing tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA are an added advantage.
