Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in automation testing for web applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, executing test cases, and ensuring software quality through automated testing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks.
- Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
- Perform API testing and validation using REST APIs and Postman.
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and testing needs.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, track, and report defects while ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Analyze test results, prepare reports, and troubleshoot issues.
- Continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and QA processes.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Playwright using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience in UI Automation Testing for web applications.
- Strong knowledge of API Testing (Postman, REST APIs).
- Experience in Test Framework Design and Maintenance.
- Experience with CI/CD Integration (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge of Cross-browser and Cross-platform Testing.
- Proficiency with Git Version Control.
- Experience in Test Reporting, Debugging, and Defect Tracking.
- Ability to independently create, maintain, and execute automation scripts.
Good to Have
- Experience with AI-assisted testing tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.
- Knowledge of Performance Testing tools like JMeter or k6.
- Experience in Mobile Automation Testing.
