Key Responsibilities:
Software Development:
- Develop high-quality, maintainable, and efficient software solutions using Python, PostgreSQL, and the Odoo framework.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test software modules and applications.
Customization and Functional Expertise:
- Customize and configure Odoo modules to align with specific business requirements.
- Demonstrate strong Odoo Techno-functional expertise in understanding business processes and mapping them to Odoo solutions.
Database Management:
- Design and maintain PostgreSQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.
- Optimize database queries and performance for efficient application operation.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and code modularity.
- Conduct code reviews and address feedback to maintain high code quality.
Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including code comments, system architecture, and database schemas.
- Provide training and support to end-users for new Odoo functional modules.
Integration and Data Management:
- Integrate Odoo with other systems, databases, or third-party applications as needed
- Efficiently manage data migration processes, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
User Satisfaction:
- Collect and analyze user feedback to continuously improve and optimize Odoo solutions.
- Monitor user adoption rates for new functional modules.
Continuous Learning and Knowledge Sharing:
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Python, Odoo, and PostgreSQL.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team, including functional documentation and mentoring.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Software Developer with expertise in Python, PostgreSQL, and Odoo Techno-functional abilities
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, coding best practices, and database management.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Odoo certification in relevant functional areas.
- Previous experience in a techno-functional role within an Odoo development environment.
- Knowledge of industry-specific business processes and how they can be addressed using Odoo.
