Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Manager to lead and drive sales growth for our Industrial Automation business. The candidate will be responsible for revenue generation, team leadership, key account management, and strategic business expansion across industries such as manufacturing, energy, process industries, oil & gas, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Growth
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market presence.
- Identify new markets, customer segments, and business opportunities.
- Lead complex sales cycles from lead generation to deal closure.
- Drive revenue growth for automation solutions including PLC, SCADA, HMI, control systems, drives, field instruments, and transmitters.
2. Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Manage, train, and mentor the sales team.
- Set individual sales targets and monitor performance KPIs.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, reviews, and performance evaluations.
- Provide coaching and support to improve conversion rates and deal closures.
3. Business Development & Key Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, EPC contractors, and OEMs.
- Lead negotiations and finalize commercial agreements.
- Identify strategic partnerships to expand business reach.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
4. Technical & Product Expertise
- Strong understanding of industrial automation products including:
- PLC, SCADA, HMI systems
- Controllers, drives, sensors
- Provide technical guidance to clients in coordination with engineering teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging automation technologies.
5. Operational & Reporting Responsibilities
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
- Track sales performance using CRM tools.
- Monitor payment collections and maintain healthy receivables.
- Provide market feedback to management and product teams.

Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Automation preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience in Industrial Automation / Process Control / Instrumentation sales.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
