Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive, structured, and hands-on Human Resources Executive – IR & Operations to strengthen the HR and Industrial Relations framework and ensure smooth people operations across our PAN India workforce, with a strong focus on blue-collar employee management. The role involves HR policy restructuring, statutory and labor compliance, attendance and identification systems implementation, industrial relations handling, and a disciplined, transparent, and supportive workplace culture in manufacturing/industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
HR Policy Review & Framework
- Review, update, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks aligned with labor laws and organizational goals.
- Develop and roll out policies specific to shop-floor and blue-collar workforce management.
- Communicate HR policies effectively across white-collar and blue-collar employees and ensure strict adherence.
Industrial Relations & Labor Compliance
- Handle day-to-day Industrial Relations (IR) activities at plant and site levels.
- Manage interactions with contract labor, supervisors, and workforce representatives.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as Factory Act, Shops & Establishments Act, CLRA, PF, ESI, Gratuity, and other applicable labor laws.
- Support dispute resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions in line with labor laws and company policies.
Discipline, Attendance & Workforce Control
- Establish and reinforce discipline, punctuality, and professional conduct, especially on the shop floor.
- Ensure attendance and wage data accuracy for payroll coordination.
- Analyze absenteeism, attrition, and workforce productivity trends and recommend corrective actions.
Employee Management (PAN India – Blue & White Collar)
- Act as the central HR coordination point for multiple plants, sites, and branch locations.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HRMS data, personnel files, and statutory registers.
- Ensure consistency in HR and IR practices across all locations.
Recruitment & Onboarding (Shop-floor & Staff Hiring)
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar, contract labor, supervisors, and staff roles.
- Coordinate onboarding processes including documentation, induction, safety briefings, and ID issuance.
Performance, Culture & Engagement
- Assist department heads in defining KRAs/KPIs for staff roles.
- Promote a positive industrial climate and employee engagement on the shop floor.
- Drive internal communication initiatives and workforce awareness programs on policies, safety, and conduct.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–5 years of hands-on HR & IR experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or plant setups.
- Proven experience in handling blue-collar and contract workforce.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, industrial relations practices, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office, HRMS platforms, attendance, and payroll coordination systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict management, and people-handling skills.
- Ability to independently manage HR and IR operations across multiple locations.
