Hiring: Senior Merchant – FAITH by FIO (Jaipur)

Role Overview:
FAITH by FIO is looking for a highly responsible and proactive Senior Merchant to handle order-wise tracking, buyer coordination, factory follow-up, and sample-to-shipment execution for multiple high-end international clients. This role requires full ownership, discipline, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage multiple buyer orders across multiple factories
- Handle complete communication with buyers and internal teams — sampling, approvals, production status, and dispatches
- Maintain full control of each order's lifecycle with systematic file-making and format creation
- Conduct sample checking, technical QC, and follow-up on corrections
- Ensure weekly visits to assigned factories for follow-up and live status checks
- Prepare WIP, TNA, and factory visit reports with detailed updates
- Coordinate accessory & label development, sample courier tracking, and follow-up
- Take initiative in sourcing of fabrics, trims, packaging, and technical inputs
- Build systems and processes to track and manage order flow effectively
- Work closely with Japanese QA and follow-up staff, ensuring alignment with their expectations
Requirements (include but are not limited to):
- 3–6 years of experience in export merchandising (woven garments preferred)
- Proficient in Excel, emails, TNA planning, and data management
- Strong understanding of sampling, approvals, QC, fabric and accessory coordination
- Excellent spoken and written English; Japanese buyer experience is a strong plus
- Regular, responsible, and able to handle independent factory visits weekly
- Ability to organize and streamline multiple orders, styles, and timelines
- Confident in costing, reporting, and buyer presentations
