Position: QC Engineer
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 1 Year

Job Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Perform dimensional and visual inspection as per engineering drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, tolerances, and quality standards.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and Gauges.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.
- Identify product defects and coordinate with production teams for corrective action.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
- Handle customer complaints and support root-cause analysis when required.
- Follow quality procedures, work instructions, and safety standards.
- Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain proper documentation related to inspection and quality control.
Required Skills
- 1 year of experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance in a manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of mechanical inspection and measurement techniques.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T basics.
- Knowledge of basic quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, and Fishbone Analysis is preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems is an advantage.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quality documentation.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, or
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: 1 year in QC/Quality Inspection.
