A Floor Supervisor in an automobile workshop manages day-to-day workshop floor operations, directing technicians and ensuring vehicle repairs are done correctly and delivered on time.Key Responsibilities
- Workflow Management: Assign repair jobs to technicians based on skill levels, bay availability, and urgency.
- Quality Control: Inspect vehicles at various repair stages to ensure first-time fixes and minimize repeat complaints.
- Technical Support: Guide mechanics and electricians through complex troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Department Coordination: Connect with Service Advisors and the Spare Parts department to maintain smooth parts flow and clear customer updates.
- Productivity Tracking: Monitor turnaround times (TAT), technician efficiency, and bay usage.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce workshop discipline, cleanliness standards (5S), and safety gear rules.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or ITI in Automobile, Mechanical, or Diesel Mechanic Engineering.
- Experience: 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in an authorized automobile or commercial vehicle workshop.
- Core Skills: Strong technical vehicle diagnosis, manpower planning, problem-solving, and basic computer knowledge
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
