Position Summary
The Steward is responsible for providing courteous, efficient, and professional service to guests. This role includes greeting customers, taking orders, serving food & beverages, ensuring table management, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Take accurate food & beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure correct presentation and temperature of food before serving.
- Manage table setups, clear tables, and reset them for the next guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area.
- Upsell and recommend menu items, specials, and promotions to increase sales.
- Ensure customer needs are met and handle requests efficiently.
- Process customer bills, handle cash/card payments, and provide receipts.
- Address guest complaints politely and escalate to supervisors when needed.
- Follow grooming standards, uniform policy, and service protocols.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualification & Experience
- Minimum 10th/12th pass (Hospitality diploma preferred).
- 1-4 years of experience in restaurants/hotels (freshers may be considered).
- Knowledge of POS systems & billing will be an advantage
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
