Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Rock Quarry Site Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our quarry site. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth production, maintain safety standards, supervise workers, and coordinate equipment and operational activities to achieve daily production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily quarry operations and ensure production targets are achieved.
- Monitor drilling, blasting (where applicable), excavation, crushing, and material loading activities.
- Coordinate and manage quarry workers, machine operators, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Conduct daily site inspections and identify operational or safety issues.
- Monitor equipment utilization and coordinate preventive maintenance with the maintenance team.
- Maintain daily production, dispatch, attendance, and site activity records.
- Ensure proper stockpile management and material quality.
- Coordinate with management regarding production planning and operational requirements.
- Monitor fuel consumption and equipment productivity.
- Handle emergency situations and ensure incidents are reported promptly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce operational downtime.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mining, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quarry, mining, crusher, or aggregate production operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good knowledge of quarry safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Ability to prepare daily operational reports.
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, and email).
- Valid driving license is an added advantage.

Preferred Experience
