About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Interior Electrician who can independently handle electrical installation, wiring, troubleshooting, and finishing work for residential and commercial interior projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute electrical work as per interior drawings, electrical layouts, and site requirements.
- Install and connect switches, sockets, lights, fans, fixtures, and electrical accessories.
- Carry out concealed and surface wiring, including conduit and cable laying.
- Install and terminate distribution boards (DBs), MCBs, RCCBs, isolators, and related components.
- Handle electrical connections for modular kitchens, wardrobes, false ceilings, furniture, and other interior elements.
- Coordinate with carpenters, plumbers, false-ceiling teams, interior supervisors, and contractors to ensure proper execution.
- Take electrical points and connections for LED lights, strip lights, profile lights, spotlights, chandeliers, pendant lights, and decorative lighting.
- Handle electrical provisions for ACs, geysers, kitchen appliances, exhaust fans, and other equipment.
- Read and understand electrical drawings and point layouts.
- Identify and rectify short circuits, loose connections, tripping, voltage issues, and other electrical faults.
- Conduct testing of wiring, circuits, switches, sockets, lighting points, and electrical equipment before project handover.
- Ensure proper earthing, insulation, cable management, and electrical safety standards.
- Coordinate with the site supervisor and report material requirements, electrical issues, and work progress.
- Ensure neat finishing of all visible electrical installations.
- Follow all required electrical safety practices and site safety procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrician, preferably in interior fit-out/residential/commercial interior projects.
- Strong practical knowledge of interior electrical installation and troubleshooting.
- Ability to understand electrical layouts and execute work independently.
- Knowledge of concealed wiring, lighting installation, DB connections, MCB/RCCB, earthing, and electrical fittings.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with other interior trades.
- Good attention to detail and quality of finishing.
- Must follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
