A Capsule Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the pharmaceutical capsules with powders or other ingredients. They ensure machines are functioning correctly, monitor production processes, and adjust settings to meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operating and Maintaining Equipment:
Setting up, operating, and cleaning capsule filling machines, as well as performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues.
· Quality Control:
Inspecting filled capsules for defects, ensuring proper weight and fill levels, and monitoring production processes to maintain quality standards.
· Material Handling:
Preparing and feeding the machine with raw materials, such as powder and empty capsules, and managing waste or byproducts.
· Documentation:
Keeping accurate records of production runs, batch numbers, and any adjustments made to the machine settings.
· Safety:
Following safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
