Site Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Site Engineer to supervise day-to-day construction activities, ensure quality workmanship, monitor project progress, and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, consultants, and vendors.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues, recommending appropriate solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Verify measurements and quantities for billing and project progress.
- Maintain site records, daily progress reports, and material consumption reports.
- Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship at the site.
- Coordinate material requirements with procurement and stores.
- Attend project meetings and provide progress updates.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
- Assist in project planning, execution, and handover activities.
- Report any delays, risks, or quality concerns to the Project Manager.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Site Engineer in residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and site execution.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and structural plans.
- Knowledge of quality control and safety standards.
- Good planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and team management abilities.
- Knowledge of project documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple site activities.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in handling contractors and site workforce.
- Familiarity with quantity estimation and billing.
- Knowledge of construction materials and quality testing.
- Willingness to travel between project sites if required.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
