- Role Title: Logistics & Supply Chain Management Faculty / Logistics Trainer
- Location: Edappally, Ernakulam (On-site classroom and practical lab instruction)
- Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time variants available
- Salary: ₹20,000+ per month (Commensurate with core shipping/logistics industry experience and teaching background)
Key Responsibilities
1. Core Logistics & Supply Chain Curriculum Delivery
- Deliver engaging lectures on Logistics Management, Supply Chain Architecture, and International Trade Operations.
- Teach fundamental and advanced shipping concepts, including Incoterms (International Commercial Terms), Bill of Lading (B/L) types, and commercial shipping documentation.
2. Specialized Shipping & Freight Forwarding Training
- Train students heavily on Ocean and Air Freight Forwarding operations, containerization, and cargo routing.
- Cover Customs Clearance Procedures, explaining import/export compliance guidelines, Indian Customs regulations, and port/ICD (Inland Container Depot) operations.
3. Practical Documentation & ERP Instruction
- Walk students through hands-on exercises for drafting crucial shipping documents (Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and Shipping Bills).
- Train students on the basics of Inventory Management software, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and the use of Microsoft Excel for supply chain tracking.
4. Job Readiness & Student Assessment
- Design and evaluate periodic tests, case study analyses, and practical assignments.
- Partner with the institute’s placement cell to conduct technical mock interviews, group discussions, and grooming sessions to prepare students for corporate placement drives.
