Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented freelance Shopify Developer to help us optimize, customize, and finalize our e-commerce platform. This is a fast-paced, high-priority project with a strict two-week timeline.
The ideal candidate must be highly autonomous, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to bridge remote development with quick in-person alignments.
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Store Customization: Customize and optimize our Shopify theme to improve user experience, aesthetic alignment, and conversion rates.
- Feature Integration: Implement specific design elements, product layout mockups, and ensure seamless navigation across desktop and mobile devices.
- Performance Optimization: Improve page load speeds, fix any existing bugs/glitches, and ensure secure, seamless checkout flows.
- SEO Setup: Ensure basic on-page SEO best practices are integrated into the site structure.
Contract Terms & Deliverables
- Timeline: The entire scope of work must be completed, tested, and handed over within 2 weeks from the official start date.
- Weekly On-Site Alignment: The developer must visit our office once a week (a total of 2 visits over the contract period) to showcase progress, present live walkthroughs of the work completed, and gather immediate feedback for adjustments.
- Availability: Must be responsive for quick iterations via WhatsApp, Slack, or email during remote work days.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven track record of building and customizing successful Shopify e-commerce storefronts (portfolio required).
- Strong expertise in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Shopify theme development/architecture.
- Experience integrating third-party apps, APIs, and setting up complex product variants or custom mockup displays.
- Ability to work under a tight deadline without compromising on clean, efficient code and pixel-perfect design.
- Location: Must be based locally or within commuting distance to attend the mandatory weekly in-person progress reviews.
Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Umargam, Gujarat
