The CNC/VMC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the machining department. This includes managing a team of operators and setters, ensuring production targets are met with 100% accuracy, and troubleshooting complex technical issues on Vertical Machining Centers (VMC).
Key Responsibilities
1. Production & Planning
Workflow Management: Allocate jobs to specific machines based on capacity and priority.
Target Achievement: Ensure the production plan is executed on time to meet delivery schedules.
Process Optimization: Identify ways to reduce cycle times and improve tool life.
2. Technical Oversight
Setup Approval: Verify first-piece inspections and approve machine setups for bulk production.
Programming Support: Assist in (or oversee) G-code/M-code programming and editing.
Tooling: Manage the inventory of cutting tools, jigs, and fixtures. Ensure the right tools are available for upcoming jobs.
3. Quality Control
Precision Monitoring: Ensure all parts meet blueprint specifications using micrometers, vernier calipers, and CMM reports.
Rejection Analysis: Investigate the root cause of any "non-conforming" parts and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
4. Leadership & Maintenance
Team Training: Mentor operators on safety protocols and machine handling.
Preventive Maintenance: Schedule and supervise routine machine maintenance (oil levels, coolant concentration, chip removal) to minimize downtime

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
