You will design data models and semantic layers that define what metrics mean and ensure consistency across every consumer.
You will work with data engineering to ensure data is collected, modeled, and ready for consumption by humans, AI agents, and applications. You will deliver insights through the right channel: dashboards, datasets, AI-enabled tools, or direct analysis and synthesize quantitative and qualitative findings into actionable insights; communicate them to stakeholders and senior leaders in a compelling, digestible way.
You will turn business questions into analytical frameworks, select the right tools and methods, and deliver outputs that inform decision-making. This means building the data systems and semantic infrastructure that humans, AI agents, and applications all depend on. You will ensure our product teams are making decisions based on sound qualitative and quantitative evidence by collecting and making use of a wide variety of data — usage statistics, web analytics, surveys, support tickets, financials, and more — spread across different systems at various levels of maturity.
You will enable self-service with curated, governed data; champion data-informed decision making, product design, and product management across your product group. You will coach junior colleagues in delivering analyses that drive decisions, ensuring quality and trust to promote and improve quality systems aligned with firm and industry standards and validate AI-generated outputs and govern what AI consumes as the trust layer between data and decisions.
You will collaborate with a diverse, global team of product managers, engineers, designers, and researchers in an inclusive environment that values curiosity and rigor. You’ll bring strong technical expertise in SQL, statistical analysis, and GenAI tools, along with experience in data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI, to turn complex datasets into clear, actionable stories. Beyond your technical abilities, you will seamlessly navigate the digital product lifecycle, independently drive impactful workstreams, and influence cross-functional stakeholders, all while actively coaching junior colleagues and fostering a trust-based, entrepreneurial team culture.
Your overarching goal is to enable data-informed decision making at all levels of the organization, including raising awareness of the value of data through storytelling, coaching members of your product group, and enabling them to ask the right questions and interpret insights without introducing bias.
You will frame business problems as analytics problems; define key research questions and identify the right approach (quantitative, qualitative, or mixed) to answer them and select appropriate tools, methods, and data sources; proactively shape what data gets collected and how it’s consumed; prioritize based on impact and feasibility. You will also navigate multiple stakeholder groups; translate between business and technical teams; align around evidence to Identify, populate, and manage a backlog of analytical opportunities; turn business needs into research plans and translate results back into actionable recommendations.
