Job Description
Aarush Dairy & Foods LLP is looking for a responsible and experienced Dairy Chemist / Quality Control Executive to manage milk quality testing, laboratory operations and quality control activities at our dairy plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Test incoming milk for Fat, SNF, CLR, acidity and adulteration.
- Operate and maintain milk analyzers and other laboratory equipment.
- Conduct platform tests such as alcohol test, COB test and organoleptic inspection.
- Check the quality of raw milk during collection and reception.
- Monitor milk chilling, storage temperature and basic processing parameters.
- Conduct adulteration and antibiotic residue tests as per the company’s testing schedule.
- Maintain daily milk testing records, laboratory registers and quality reports.
- Calibrate laboratory instruments and ensure accurate test results.
- Monitor cleaning and sanitation of BMCs, milk cans, pipelines, tanks and processing areas.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI requirements, hygiene standards and company SOPs.
- Identify and report any quality deviation, contamination or non-conforming milk.
- Coordinate with the milk procurement and plant operations teams.
- Maintain laboratory chemicals, testing kits and consumable stock.
- Assist in preparing SOPs, quality documentation and audit records.
Candidate Requirements
- B.Sc. Chemistry, M.Sc. Chemistry, B.Tech Dairy Technology, Diploma in Dairy Technology or a related qualification.
- Minimum 1 year and maximum 3 years of relevant experience in a dairy plant, milk chilling centre or food testing laboratory.
- Practical knowledge of milk testing, adulteration testing and dairy laboratory equipment.
- Knowledge of FSSAI standards, GMP, GHP and basic food safety practices.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Willingness to work in shifts when required.
- Candidate should be disciplined, responsible and attentive to quality.
- Candidates from Jalna, Badnapur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar or nearby areas will be preferred.
