Summary:
As a Data Modeler, your day involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders including business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects. You will focus on understanding existing data structures and designing new data models that align with business needs. This role requires continuous interaction with different teams to ensure that data models are accurate, efficient, and support the organization's objectives. You will also be involved in reviewing and refining data models to enhance data quality and usability across multiple applications and platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.
- Document and maintain data models and metadata to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in data modeling tasks.
- Continuously evaluate and improve data modeling processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable data models that support business intelligence and analytics.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data integration techniques.
- Ability to work with large datasets and optimize data storage and retrieval.
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices.
- Skilled in collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions.
Additional Information:
