Senior News Producer – Upcoming Special Series
Job Summary: Sudarshan News Channel is looking for an experienced Senior News Producer to lead the production of an upcoming special series-based show. The role requires strong editorial judgment, creative storytelling, and the ability to manage end-to-end show production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute special series and studio-based shows.
- Develop show formats, storylines, rundowns, scripts, and content flow.
- Coordinate with Input, Output, PCR, Graphics, Video Editing, and Anchors.
- Ensure high-quality content, strong storytelling, and smooth telecast.
- Handle breaking news, last-minute changes, and live production requirements.
- Supervise content packaging, graphics, promos, and visual presentation.
- Work closely with senior editorial management to deliver impactful shows.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in TV news production, preferably as a Senior Producer/Producer.
- Strong experience in special shows, series-based programming, and live news production.
- Excellent Hindi and English writing and editorial skills.
- Strong knowledge of newsroom operations, rundown management, PCR coordination, and content production.
- Creative, decisive, highly organized, and able to work under tight deadlines
