Trainee Detailer — Structural Steel Detailing Team

Job Purpose
Support the Structural Steel Detailing team at Rydberg Engineering Pvt Ltd under the direction of the Team Leader. Manage project data, perform technical research, prepare clear reports, and assist with design and detailing tasks. Build proficiency in 3D detailing tools and ensure all work complies with applicable U.S. industry standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- 3D Modeling and Detailing: Produce and revise models using Tekla Structures and SDS2; familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit is advantageous.
- Standards and Compliance: Ensure deliverables meet U.S. standards including AISC, OSHA, NISD, SJI, AWS, and ANSI.
- Technical Application: Apply basic Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles and 3D CAD workflows.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, and civil drawings and specifications.
- Project Documentation: Maintain accurate project files, revision logs, and supporting documentation.
- Research & Reporting: Conduct technical research, prepare concise reports, and summarize findings for the Team Leader.
- Team Support: Assist with ad‑hoc tasks, coordination with other disciplines, and quality checks as required.
- Professional Conduct: Demonstrate integrity, accountability, and collaborative teamwork in all interactions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Software: Tekla Structures and SDS2 preferred; AutoCAD or Revit helpful.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of GD&T and 3D CAD modeling.
- Communication: Clear written and verbal English; ability to document technical work.
- Attributes: Detail oriented, quick learner, reliable, and able to follow technical direction.
Work Schedule, Safety & Compensation
- Workweek: 6 days (Sunday fixed off).
- Shifts (rotational):
- Day Shift: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM
- Safety & Transport: Secure transport and workplace security provided for employees assigned to night shifts.
- Compensation:
- Training Phase (Month 1): Paid stipend of ₹8,000.
- Post‑Training Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 Monthly CTC, final offer based on interview and performance.
- Probation: Successful completion of the 1‑month training and evaluation required for confirmation.
