HIRING - SAFETY OFFICER
Experience: 2-5 yrs. (In Lithium Battery Pack Manufacturing Unit)

Qualification: Diploma in Industrial Safety or Equivalent Safety Certification.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Officer to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards in a battery manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, promoting a strong safety culture, and ensuring adherence to statutory and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and safety standards across manufacturing operations.
· Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and hazard identification exercises.
· Perform risk assessments and ensure effective implementation of control measures.
· Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, Factory Act provisions, and applicable safety regulations.
· Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
· Conduct safety induction programs and periodic awareness training for employees and contractors.
· Monitor usage and availability of PPE and ensure compliance with PPE requirements.
· Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous chemicals and battery materials.
· Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, fire drills, and mock evacuation exercises.
· Maintain records related to safety audits, incidents, training, permits, and statutory compliance.
· Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
· Liaise with regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders for safety-related matters.
· Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety and environmental performance.

Key Requirements:
· Sound knowledge of industrial safety practices and statutory requirements.
· Familiarity with battery manufacturing processes and handling of hazardous materials is preferred.
· Knowledge of fire safety systems, emergency response, and permit-to-work systems.
· Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
· Understanding of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and EHS management systems.
· Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation.
· Battery Manufacturing, Lithium-Ion Battery Plants, Electrical/Electronics Manufacturing, Chemical Processing, Automotive Components, or Similar Process Industries will be preferable.

Preferred Certifications:
- Diploma in Industrial Safety (DIS) / Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent safety certification (preferred).
- First Aid and Fire Fighting training certification.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
