Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Back Office Executive to manage purchase operations, generate purchase orders (PO), finalize vendor rates, and support product development activities. The candidate will play a key role in vendor coordination, cost optimization, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:Purchase / Procurement:
- Generate and manage Purchase Orders (POs)
- Collect quotations from vendors and finalize rates through negotiation
- Compare price, quality, and delivery timelines
- Ensure cost-effective procurement
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain purchase records and documentation
Vendor Management:
- Identify and onboard new vendors
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and agreements
- Maintain strong vendor relationships
- Resolve vendor-related issues
Product Development:
- Assist in new product sourcing and development
- Coordinate for product samples and approvals
- Maintain product specifications and records
- Support quality checks
Back Office / Admin Work:
- Maintain MIS reports and data entry
- Documentation, filing, and record keeping
- Coordinate with Sales, Accounts & Warehouse teams
- Ensure data accuracy in Excel/ERP
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of MS Excel & MS Office
- Strong negotiation & vendor handling skills
- Understanding of PO process & procurement cycle
- Good communication & coordination
- Attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate (B.Com / BBA / Any stream)
- Experience in purchase/back office preferred
