About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated BIM Manager to lead our Building Information Modelling (BIM) team in India while supporting engineering and construction projects across Australia.
The successful candidate will establish and manage BIM standards, oversee project delivery, mentor technical staff, and ensure all BIM models comply with Australian client requirements and industry standards. This is a leadership role requiring excellent technical capability, strong coordination skills, and the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams located in both India and Australia.
Key ResponsibilitiesBIM Leadership
- Lead and manage the BIM team across multiple concurrent projects.
- Develop and implement company BIM standards, procedures, and workflows.
- Ensure consistent modelling practices across all disciplines.
- Establish quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes for BIM deliverables.
- Monitor team productivity, utilisation, and project performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the BIM team.
Project Delivery
- Manage BIM execution from project commencement through to completion.
- Prepare and review BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
- Coordinate BIM deliverables with Australian project managers and design engineers.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality.
- Conduct clash detection, coordination reviews, and model validation.
- Manage model federation and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows.
- Participate in coordination meetings with Australian clients and consultants.
Technical Responsibilities
- Develop intelligent 3D BIM models for:
- Electrical Services
- Mechanical Services
- Hydraulic Services
- Fire Protection Services
- Review Revit models for compliance with Australian standards and project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with:
- ISO 19650
- Australian BIM requirements
- Client BIM Execution Plans
- Project modelling standards
- Manage model publishing, documentation, and revisions.
- Maintain BIM libraries, templates, families, and shared parameters.
Team Management
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop BIM coordinators and BIM modellers.
- Conduct regular performance reviews.
- Identify training needs and organise professional development.
- Allocate resources across projects.
- Promote collaboration between the India and Australia teams.

- Monitor adherence to company BIM standards.
- Maintain documentation and quality records.
Innovation
- Research new BIM technologies and workflows.
- Improve automation using Dynamo, Python, or other digital tools where appropriate.
- Recommend improvements to increase efficiency and model quality.
- Support digital engineering initiatives across the business.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Services, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of BIM experience.
- Minimum 3 years in a BIM leadership or management role.
- Experience delivering projects for Australian, UK, or international clients is highly desirable.
