About the role:
We are looking for an engineer capable of solving complex real-world problems such as navigating a self-driving vehicle in a dynamic heterogeneous environment in a safe and efficient manner. As a path planning engineer you will be developing AI-based algorithms to tackle the problems of real-time trajectory prediction/planning, decision making, and many more. You will get exposure to different projects (on-road vehicles, off-road vehicles) and test the proposed solution on the prototype vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Build motion planning and decision-making systems for self-driving vehicles,
ensuring that the behavior of our vehicles is safe.
Develop and Implement custom stacks based on requirements.
Build robust solutions to cutting-edge driving problems.
Improve how our vehicles act and react in complex and nuanced situations.
Requirements:
Language: C++, Python.
Prior hands-on experience in deploying motion planning/control algorithms on
autonomous vehicles.
Hands-on experience with ROS, Navigation stack.
Experienced with practical application of robotic path planning algorithms
(A*, Djikstra, RRT, etc.) and trajectory planning algorithms.
Strong mathematical skills and a good grasp of data structures and algorithms.
Theoretical knowledge of coverage path planning algorithms, computational
geometry, trajectory and behavior prediction, vehicle kinematics, inverse kinematics, and optimization methods.
Good to Have:
Hands-on experience or theoretical knowledge on reinforcement learning.
Knowledge of multi-agent planning/ fleet management systems.
Basic knowledge of V2X communication protocols.
