Job Summary
The Consultant Paediatrician is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. The role involves diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic paediatric conditions, along with preventive healthcare, counselling, and coordination with other medical specialties when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient and inpatient consultation and comprehensive medical care to paediatric patients.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage common and complex paediatric medical conditions.
- Manage paediatric emergencies and provide appropriate stabilization and treatment.
- Conduct regular ward rounds and monitor hospitalized patients.
- Evaluate newborns and provide appropriate neonatal care when required.
- Monitor child growth, development, nutrition, and immunization status.
- Provide preventive healthcare, vaccination advice, and anticipatory guidance to parents.
- Order and interpret appropriate laboratory, radiological, and other diagnostic investigations.
- Develop and review individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and established medical guidelines.
- Counsel parents
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹110,000.00 per month
