PROFILE OVERVIEW
Draughtsman- Autocad About the Role We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join our design execution team. You will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings for furniture, interiors, and play installations based on design concepts and site requirements. This is a full-time, studio-based role that requires coordination with the design team, vendors, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed 2D drawings, GFCs, elevations, sections, and furniture layouts
- Translate design concepts into technical CAD drawings suitable for fabrication and site execution
- Develop BOQs and material specs based on final drawings
- Coordinate with designers, production vendors, and project managers to ensure dimensional accuracy and feasibility
- Conduct regular drawing revisions and updates as per site feedback
- Assist in measurement taking and preparing as-built drawings when required
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Diploma/Certification in Architecture, Interior Design, or Draftsman ship
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of SketchUp, Photoshop, or Revit is a plus
- 2–5 years of experience in interior or furniture detailing
- Strong understanding of materials, hardware, joinery, and construction techniques
- Ability to read architectural drawings and coordinate across services (civil, electrical, plumbing)
- Experience working on educational or kids’ furniture projects is an added advantage
