Production Operator works on the factory floor to operate machinery, assemble products, monitor production processes, and maintain quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment
- Assemble products or components according to specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality and defects
- Maintain production records and logs
- Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure workplace cleanliness and organization (5S practices)
- Adhere to safety guidelines and use protective equipment
- Report any machine faults, defects, or safety issues
- Meet daily production targets
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic understanding of machines and production processes
- Ability to follow instructions and SOPs
- Attention to detail and quality control
- Physical stamina (standing for long hours, lifting materials)
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Problem-solving ability
Education & Experience
- Minimum: High school / ITI / Diploma
- Experience: 0–3 years (entry-level roles often accept freshers)
