Role Overview
As a Senior Manager (Technical), you will serve as the pivotal link between our business
objectives and technical execution. You will lead a high-performing team of 4–5 Project
Leaders, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of complex web and mobile ecosystems.
This role requires a rare blend of deep technical heritage in the .NET stack, modern
mobile expertise in Flutter, and the executive presence to interface directly with global
customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Documentation
- Business Requirements: Translate vague customer visions into concrete
Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Technical Specification
Documents.
- Architecture: Define and oversee high-level architecture for scalable .NET
backend services and responsive Flutter mobile applications.
- Road mapping: Lead the project planning phase, including resource allocation,
risk assessment and sprint scheduling.
- Team Leadership & Governance
- Mentorship: Direct management of 4–5 Project Leaders, providing technical
mentorship and performance coaching.
- Code Quality: Establish and enforce standards for code reviews, unit testing,
and CI/CD pipelines across web and mobile workstreams.
- Conflict Resolution: Act as the final technical arbiter for architectural disputes
or roadblocks within the teams.
- Customer & Stakeholder Coordination
- Communication: Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers,
explaining complex technical hurdles in business-friendly terms.
- Expectation Management: Work closely with stakeholders to manage scope
creep and ensure delivery aligns with the initial BRD.
- Pre-sales Support: Occasionally assist in technical discovery sessions for new
client acquisitions.
Technical & Professional Competencies
- The .NET Veteran: Proficient in the evolution of .NET (from Framework to
Core/6/8+), including Microservices, Web API, and Enterprise Integration
Patterns.
- Mobile Visionary: Solid understanding of Flutter/Dart development cycles, state
management, and the nuances of deploying to iOS and Android.
- SDLC Mastery: Expert knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability
to pivot between “Big Picture” planning and “In the Weeds” problem-solving.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication; the ability to present
a high-level roadmap to a CEO one hour and a database schema to a developer
the next.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or
a related field. (MBA is a plus for the business documentation side).
- Experience: A minimum of 15 years in software development, with a
documented history of leading large-scale projects for at least a decade.
Experience in travel domain is a plus.
- Portfolio: Proven track record of delivering at least 5-6 enterprise-grade
mobile/web applications from conception to post-launch maintenance.
