Job Overview:
We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer with 1–2 years of experience to provide technical assistance and support for hardware, software, and basic network-related issues. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience troubleshooting desktop/laptop systems, installing applications, and assisting end-users with day-to-day IT concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Install and configure Windows operating systems and required software.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Set up and configure user email accounts and basic system access.
Assist in software installations, updates, and antivirus maintenance.
Support LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity troubleshooting.
Maintain IT inventory records and documentation.
Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when required.
Assist users via remote or on-site support.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1–2 years of desktop/IT support experience.
- Knowledge of Windows OS installation and configuration.
- Basic networking knowledge (IP settings, LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting.)
- Familiarity with MS Office installation and support.
- Hardware troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and user-support skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.
