Position Overview
Admire Holidays is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Senior Travel Consultant to manage holiday sales, client relationships, itinerary planning, and revenue generation. The ideal candidate should possess strong destination knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to convert travel inquiries into confirmed bookings while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Handle inbound and outbound travel inquiries.
- Convert leads into confirmed bookings.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Upsell holiday packages, flights, hotels, activities, visas, and travel insurance.
- Generate repeat business and referrals from existing customers.
- Follow up with prospects through calls, WhatsApp, email, and CRM.
2. Holiday Package Consultation
- Understand customer travel requirements and budgets.
- Design customized domestic and international holiday packages.
- Provide destination expertise and travel recommendations.
- Prepare detailed quotations and itineraries.
- Explain package inclusions, exclusions, visa requirements, and travel policies.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with customers.
- Provide end-to-end travel assistance before, during, and after travel.
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints professionally.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction levels and positive reviews.
4. Vendor & Supplier Coordination
- Coordinate with hotels, airlines, DMCs, transport providers, and activity suppliers.
- Negotiate competitive rates and special offers.
- Ensure timely confirmations and service delivery.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships.
5. Team Support & Leadership
- Guide junior travel consultants and telecallers.
- Share destination knowledge and sales strategies.
- Assist in training new team members.
- Support the Branch Head in achieving business objectives.
6. CRM & Reporting
- Update lead status and customer interactions in CRM.
- Maintain accurate booking records.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Track conversion ratios and business performance.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Domestic & International destinations.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Expertise in itinerary creation and costing.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in CRM software, MS Excel, and travel booking systems.
- Ability to work under sales targets and deadlines.
Preferred Destinations Knowledge
- Thailand, Bali, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Dubai
- Kashmir, Kerala, Himachal, Andaman, Northeast India
- Europe, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Bhutan
Qualification
- Graduate in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
- IATA/UFTAA certification will be an added advantage.
