Key Responsibilities- ITI Fitter
- Assemble, fit, and install mechanical components and machinery as per drawings.
- Perform maintenance and repair of plant equipment such as pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, and pipelines.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure smooth production.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Perform activities like cutting, drilling, grinding, tapping, and alignment of parts.
- Check tolerances, clearances, and dimensions using measuring tools.
- Assist in installation, dismantling, and shifting of machinery.
- Identify faults and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Skills & Knowledge Required
- Good understanding of mechanical systems and machine components.
- Knowledge of fits and tolerances, bearings, shafts, couplings, and fasteners.
- Familiarity with hand tools and machines like grinders, drills, and cutting tools.
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is an advantage.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Qualifications
- ITI Fitter (mandatory).
- Apprenticeship or 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setup preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
