Which means ~$900B worth of commerce flows through these ~60M MSMEs in the form of shops/kiosks/homes, scattered all over the country. We at Khatabook, have a vision to empower MSMEs and help them increase their incomes. We have built a product that brings efficiency in MSME operations by providing them easy to use tools to manage their receivables, inventory and billing which creates transparency in their cash flow. Within the Khatabook platform, we have also enabled the facility to take loans for their short term working capital needs for select Khatabook users that are displaying good credit behavior. Our app has been downloaded over 100 Million times with a monthly active user base of 8 Million+ which are adding 220 Million+ transactions with a transaction value of $18 Billion.

Collaborate with the Design team and engineering to define and implement innovative mobile solutions, visuals, and experience.

Execute all design stages from concept to final hand-off to developers.

Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to communicate.

Drive the UI/UX design with a focus on branding, and usability, and ensure visual coherence effectively.

3+ years of experience in building design solutions for mobile applications, consumer products, and SaaS.
Should have a degree in HCI / Product design or have relevant experience in building digital products.
Experience in developing design solutions through research, user testing, and following a data-driven design approach.
Experience in leading the design development from the ideation phase to delightful user experience by collaborating with the product, engineering, and design team. Up-to-date knowledge and skill in using tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Principle, etc.
Solid understanding of building design systems, responsive layouts, and Information Architecture.
Ensure solutions meet high visual and interaction design standards while maintaining consistency with Khatabook's design system.
Good understanding of design thinking processes, techniques, and methodologies.
Additional skills in visual design, micro-interaction, and animation are a plus.
You actively explore how emerging tools like generative AI can enhance workflows, creativity, or product experiences.
High sense of ownership and relentlessness to deliver projects. You value integrity and derive great personal joy from efficient teamwork.
Effectively mentor and inspire junior designers as we expand the team. Help the team in raising the bar, resolving blockers, prioritizing and breaking down complex projects into simpler tasks.
Ability to articulate product priorities and strategy in a compelling manner.
