Role and Company Overview:

Our products illuminate everything from commercial spaces to architectural landmarks, combining functionality with refined design.
We are seeking a Junior Lighting System Design Engineer to assist in designing, planning, and executing lighting projects. You will work closely with senior engineers, clients, and contractors to deliver efficient, high-quality lighting solutions that meet performance standards and client expectations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, technical challenges, and contributing to cutting-edge projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design & Planning:
- Develop detailed lighting system designs, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Assist in preparing and revising Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Bills of Materials (BOM) based on feedback.
Technical Support:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to LED drivers, control systems (DALI, DMX) , and wiring configurations.
- Perform system testing and validation to ensure compliance with performance standards and specifications.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including drawings, BOQs, progress reports, and technical specifications.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior engineers, clients, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide technical expertise and support during all project phases, from planning to installation and commissioning.
Key Skills Required:
Technical Skills:
- Fundamental understanding of lighting systems, including LED technology, control protocols (DALI, DMX), and circuitry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and calculations.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Preferred Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in the Lighting or Electrical industry is essential.
