Business Consultant – Wholesale & Distribution
Job Summary
We are looking for a Business Consultant – Wholesale & Distribution with strong domain expertise in supply chain, warehouse management, procurement, logistics, inventory planning, and distribution operations. The candidate should have practical exposure to wholesale and trading businesses and be capable of providing business solutions based on operational requirements.
We are looking for professionals with strong industry exposure and practical business process knowledge. Candidates should possess the ability to understand real-world operational challenges, engage with stakeholders, and recommend scalable business solutions. Experience with ERP platforms is considered an added advantage; however, industry expertise and business consulting capability will be the primary selection criteria.
Industry expertise is mandatory. ERP knowledge is an added advantage.
Experience

6–10 years of experience in Wholesale, Distribution, Supply Chain, Trading, or Procurement.

Experience working with multi-location warehouse operations and dealer/distributor networks is preferred.
Key Responsibilities

Analyse procurement, warehouse, logistics, and inventory processes.

Conduct business workshops with clients.

Gather and document business requirements.

Recommend optimized business workflows.

Support solution implementation, UAT, and training.

Prepare functional documentation and process maps.

Work closely with procurement, finance, logistics, warehouse, and sales teams.

Drive operational improvements and process optimization.
