- Operate beam saw machines to cut panels and boards according to design requirements.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, cutting lists, and work orders.
- Set up, calibrate, and adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
- Ensure accuracy in measurements and maintain tight tolerances during cutting.
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or irregularities.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised work environment.
- Collaborate with supervisors and production staff to meet deadlines.
Requirements-
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- Prior experience operating beam saws or similar woodworking machinery.
- Knowledge of woodworking materials, cutting techniques, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
