Junior LabVIEW Programmer / Developer
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Junior LabVIEW Programmer to join our engineering and automation team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain graphical user interfaces (GUIs), data acquisition workflows, and test sequences using National Instruments LabVIEW. You will bridge the gap between software logic and hardware systems, ensuring robust communication with varied sensors and laboratory instruments. This role is an excellent fit for recent engineering graduates or early-career developers looking to grow within industrial automation, test engineering, or aerospace environments.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development: Write, debug, and optimize core LabVIEW code and Virtual Instruments (VIs) according to system specification design.
Hardware Interfacing: Connect LabVIEW software with National Instruments hardware platforms like DAQmx, PXI, cRIO, or third-party laboratory instruments.
System Integration: Deploy serial, network, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., RS-232, SPI, I2C, Modbus, TCP/IP) to gather external test data.
Testing & Troubleshooting: Validate system modules against target compliance parameters using measurement tools like Oscilloscopes and Digital Multimeters (DMM).
Data Processing: Build tools for seamless report generation, tracking internal metrics, and writing structured sensor files.
Documentation: Author clean developer logs, application manual schematics, and functional software design requirements.
Required Qualifications Education:
"Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Computer Science Engineering.
Experience: 0 to 2 years of professional, internship, or academic project experience with NI LabVIEW development.
Core Skills: Strong fundamental understanding of graphical programming ("G" language) loops, state machines, and data types.Exposure to data acquisition (DAQ) concepts, analog/digital signals, and signal processing.Familiarity with debugging block diagrams and handling front-panel UI design.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
NI Certification: Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) or Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) status.
TestStand: Basic knowledge of NI TestStand for automated execution planning.
Text-Based Code: Supplementary scripting skills in Python, C, or C++.
Database Management: Foundational skill interacting with SQL databases or local file storage arrangements.
Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
