English Teacher (Class 9th-10th)
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team for teaching students in classes 9th and 10th. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment, implementing effective teaching strategies, and fostering a love for the English language among students.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum objectives and cater to the specific needs of students in classes 9th and 10th.
- Teach English language skills including reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension to enhance students' proficiency.
- Utilize various teaching methods and techniques to engage students and make learning enjoyable and effective.
- Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and creativity through classroom discussions, activities, and assignments.
- Evaluate students' progress through regular assessments, quizzes, tests, and assignments, and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued, respected, and encouraged to participate.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support students' academic and personal development.
- Stay updated with educational trends, teaching methodologies, and resources to continuously improve teaching practices.
- Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, grades, and performance, and communicate with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress.
- Participate in professional development activities, workshops, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Teaching certification/license is required.
- Proven experience in teaching English language and literature to students in classes 9th and 10th.
- Strong knowledge of English grammar, composition, literature, and language acquisition principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, colleagues, parents, and administrators.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth.
- Patience, empathy, and dedication to supporting students' diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Proficiency in using technology and educational tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
