Collect blood, urine, stool, and other body fluid samples from patients
Perform routine laboratory tests such as hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and pathology investigations
Prepare samples and reagents for testing
Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment and analyzers
Record and report test results accurately in lab registers or hospital software
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and disposal of samples
Follow infection control and biomedical waste management protocols
Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of laboratory instruments and work areas
Inform the Lab In-Charge or Pathologist about any abnormal test results or equipment malfunction
Maintain stock of laboratory supplies and inform the concerned department about shortages
Follow hospital policies, safety guidelines, and NABH/quality standards (if applicable)
