Prepare component-level and assembly-level models and drawings of new products.
Revise and update existing 3D models and drawings to reflect design changes, in collaboration with other Departments, to ensure consistent project documentation.
Maintain notes and other documentation (Bill of materials, manuals, list of design parameters and performance metrics) for future reference.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturing processes and outsourced items.
Coordinate prototype manufacturing in collaboration with other Production Engineers.
Coordinate design activities in cross-functional teams.
3D draughtsmen (including sheet metal module) and detailing knowledge using SolidWorks software.
Skilled in PC usage and associated software, including Microsoft Office.Communication skills: interpersonal, listening, oral.
Able to work with minimal supervision, efficiently schedule and manage time.
Freshers Welcome. 0-2 years of experience in the design department in the manufacturing industry added advantage.
Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
