Position Summary
The IT Head / Senior System Administrator will be responsible for managing and securing the Bank's entire IT infrastructure, ensuring uninterrupted banking operations, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, and implementation of technology-driven business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities -IT Infrastructure Management
- Manage and oversee the Bank's IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage systems, databases, and end-user computing environments.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of IT systems.
Information Security & Cybersecurity
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity frameworks and controls.
- Monitor information security risks and implement mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with RBI cybersecurity and IT governance guidelines.
Core Banking & Digital Systems
- Support and maintain Core Banking Solution (CBS) and related banking applications.
- Lead digital transformation and technology modernization initiatives.
- Ensure seamless functioning of internet banking, mobile banking, and payment systems.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with RBI, NPCI, CERT-In, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate IT audits, IS audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance reviews.
Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
- Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
- Conduct periodic DR drills and ensure operational readiness.
Vendor & Project Management
- Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
- Lead implementation of IT projects within defined timelines and budgets.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend suitable solutions.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and guide IT personnel and support teams.
- Establish operational standards and performance benchmarks.
- Ensure efficient incident management and technical support services.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, CISSP, ITIL, or equivalent will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in IT operations, preferably in the Banking or Financial Services sector.
- At least 5 years in a senior or leadership role managing IT infrastructure, systems administration, information security, and technology operations.
Preferred Competencies
- Strong knowledge of banking technology architecture.
- Expertise in network administration, cybersecurity, and system management.
- Familiarity with RBI regulations and banking technology standards.
- Strong leadership, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
