Job Summary The Maintenance Officer will be responsible for monitoring the performance of solar power plants, conducting daily generation analysis, managing customer complaints and service tickets, coordinating with Maintenance Engineers and site technicians, preparing performance reports, and ensuring timely resolution of operational issues. The role requires strong analytical skills, customer-centric thinking, and effective coordination with internal teams, clients, and vendors to maximize plant performance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities 1. Plant Monitoring & Performance Analysis Monitor daily generation of all rooftop and ground-mounted solar power plants. Analyze plant performance against expected generation. Identify underperforming sites and investigate generation losses. Monitor inverter performance, communication status, alarms, and system health. Track Performance Ratio (PR), plant availability, and generation trends. Escalate performance deviations and operational issues for corrective action. Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Generation Analysis Reports. 2. Customer Support & Service Ticket Management Serve as the primary point of contact for customer complaints and service requests. Receive and register complaints through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and service portals. Generate Service Ticket IDs for all customer complaints and maintenance requests. Assign tickets to Maintenance Engineers or Technicians based on priority and location. Monitor ticket status and ensure timely closure. Provide regular updates to customers regarding issue status and resolution timelines. Maintain service history records and complaint logs. Collect customer feedback after service completion. Ensure customer satisfaction through timely communication and support. 3. Issue Resolution & Maintenance Coordination Identify operational issues through remote monitoring and performance analysis. Coordinate with Maintenance Engineers and field technicians for issue resolution. Follow up on pending issues until successful closure. Conduct root cause analysis for recurring plant issues. Escalate critical issues to the O&M Manager. Ensure all customer complaints are resolved within defined SLA timelines. 4. Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate generation records and maintenance logs. Prepare monthly performance reports for clients. Develop annual performance reports covering: o Generation Trends o System Efficiency Analysis o Impact of Grid Failures and Power Cuts o Energy Savings Analysis o Payback Performance Maintain proper documentation in designated company folders and databases. Ensure timely submission of reports and records. 5. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Management Prepare and monitor preventive maintenance schedules. Coordinate site visits and maintenance activities. Track completion of preventive and corrective maintenance jobs. Verify service reports submitted by technicians. Maintain PM and CM records for audit and performance tracking. Ensure maintenance activities are completed as per defined schedules. 6. Client Coordination & AMC Management Coordinate with clients regarding plant performance and maintenance activities. Share service schedules, maintenance updates, and performance reports. Follow up for AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) renewals. Support preparation of O&M proposals and service agreements. Maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication. 7. Vendor Coordination & Warranty Management Coordinate with inverter, module, and equipment manufacturers for warranty claims. Track repair, replacement, and warranty closure activities. Maintain warranty documentation and records. Ensure timely follow-up and closure of warranty cases. Minimize equipment downtime through effective vendor coordination. 8. Safety & Compliance Ensure adherence to company safety standards and SOPs. Verify availability of PPE and safety equipment before maintenance activities. Promote safe working practices across all project sites. Ensure technicians comply with safety and quality requirements. 9. Operational Excellence Ensure seamless coordination between customers, technicians, vendors, and internal teams. Identify recurring issues and recommend preventive actions. Suggest process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Contribute towards achieving customer satisfaction and plant performance goals. Educational Qualification Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline. Experience Required Minimum 2 years and preferably 2–3 years of experience in: o Solar O&M Operations o Plant Monitoring o Performance Analysis o Customer Support
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
