OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
-
Effectively manage the day to day Supply Chain operations for the region. The operations efforts would include warehousing and transportation management.

Plan and coordinate the movement of finished goods to the warehouses and consumers/outlets - i.e. all dispatch and logistics interventions within the timelines and in a compliant manner.

Drive Key projects identified to improve operational efficiency.
Day to day activities:
-
Manage the supply chain operations at encompassing warehousing and transportation.
-
Work with the SC Planning, Production, Finance and Regional Sales teams, understanding sales forecasts, stock availability and timely execution of Sales order at the billing locations.
-
Work closely cross functionally in arranging necessary documents (duty/TP etc.) to enable timely order execution.
Warehouse Management:
-
Ensure statutory laws, excise rules and regulations are complied with.
-
Effectively manage the distribution operations to ensure the smooth flow of the finished products from the plant to warehouses and ultimately to the retail/customer locations.
-
Maintain GWP at the warehouses, optimum capacity utilization of warehouse - proper storage layouts. Conduct regular checks/audits on SOP and compliance adherence.

Maintain safe and healthy work environment by enforcing 100% compliance to all SOPs and statutory requirements.

Ensure complete stock accuracy preventing any stock inadequacy/excess. Conduct stock audits regularly and ensure reconciliation with ZERO inventory difference.

Highlight concern areas in 3PL performance to enable Zonal SC Manager to Track and monitor performance against KPIs; Implement corrective actions to improve performance.

Drive implementation of FIFO, FEFO and Batch management in the warehouse.

Label Registrations: Ensure timely coordination with for registration of labels in the region by coordinating with Plants/ State heads so that there are no delays in product supplies.

Movement of CAPEX for all units as per demand. Timely repair & Maintenance of MHE.

Periodic Depot Visits to monitor inventory holding/Detention/Breakage.

Ensure timely bill reconciliation and payment to service provider.
Projects:
-
Implement and sustain DRP roll out in the region
-
Track & Trace implementation in the region and monitoring performance
-
Drive Lashing/Palletization/Other initiative in region to reduce transit breakages.
-
Work in set up of centre of excellence at designated location.
Transportation management
-
Work with the Zonal SC Manager in formulating and implementing processes that lead to efficiency and optimal service levels. Ensure 100% orders are executed within the timelines.

Ensure statutory laws, excise rules and regulations are complied with.
-
Ensure 100% use of compliant vehicles for all sales movement in the region.
-
Highlight concern areas in transporter performance to enable Zonal SC Manager to monitor transporters performance against KPIs; Implement corrective actions.
-
Liaison with the Finance team and transporters on detention, accidental and disputed cases, ensuring timely submission of Insurance Claims documents. Conduct RCA of these cases and take corrective and preventive action for all the incidents, accidents or customer complaints.

Follow up with Sales team to get timely TTP copies/EVC submission (wherever applicable).

Ensure timely bill reconciliation and payment to service provider.
Order Management and Fulfilment:
-
Work closely with the Supply chain teams and ensure indents/permits are generated and executed on time, maintaining high levels of accuracy of the orders captured into JDE.

Work closely with the Regional office on Excise Duty requirements and reconciliation of Excise Duty. Maintain and track excise records ensuring timely submission of MIS reports to Finance and excise teams.

Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction w.r.t. class of SKUs serviced from the warehousing locations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Preferably be an MBA from a reputed institute
EXPERIENCE:
-
3-4 years’ experience in all facets of supply chain operations in FMCG or beverage industry would be preferred.
-
Should have in-depth ERP knowledge to leverage IT in Supply Chain domain.
-
A target oriented and self-driven individual with a high sense of achievement to accomplish departmental and self-goals.
-
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment

Willing to work in Hilly Area and travel across his geography to complete his task.
